New Benchmark Data for Infrastructure of Superconducting Qubit Measurements
Bluefors and Zurich Instruments report data that benchmark the infrastructure of superconducting qubit measurements within the Bluefors factory. The Bluefors dilution refrigerator measurement system, integrated with Zurich Instruments’ control electronics, supports fast experimental implementation enabling long automated measurements with high signal quality and low amplitude and phase noise.
The Bluefors Quantum Team recorded histograms of qubit energy relaxation times for timescales spanning up to 100 hours for both 2D and 3D transmons and analyzed their natural fluctuations. These measurements support the development of new integrated solutions that improve filtering, shielding, and protect qubits from environmental noise. The qubit samples were developed and fabricated by IST-Austria and Chalmers University of Technology.
