Delft, Netherlands

Bluefors Delft is our R&D Facility in the Netherlands, which provides the Bluefors Lab service. Bluefors Lab offers startups, research groups, and other organizations easy and convenient access to a cryogenic measurement system to test quantum hardware and software.

The staff in Delft help and support our customers when they conduct experiments in the lab, with a Bluefors Cryo Engineer monitoring and taking care of the system, to ensure the success of our customers’ work.

Delft is home to the Quantum Delft ecosystem. Quantum Delft is a unique ecosystem that has been decades in the making: a hotspot for excellent scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs who rigorously lead the way in quantum technology.

The ecosystem consists of numerous companies, research institutes, and the Delft University of Technology (ranked as the #1 university in the Netherlands). Delft also includes the House of Quantum, a national campus for quantum technology.

The facility is located centrally at the Delft University of Technology campus in building 22.

Besides being a hub for science and technology, Delft is also a city with rich history and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.

Delft is known for its picturesque sights, as the city is filled with canals, churches, markets, and courtyards surrounded by many restaurants. It’s also the home of Delftware ceramic products and many museums.

Delft is centrally located in Europe, and easily reachable from all around the world, with good transit connections. The Hague and Rotterdam are a short train ride away, and Amsterdam can be reached in under 50 minutes. Traveling inside the city is easy as well; there is an excellent public transportation, and the extensive bicycle network provides a popular way to get around.
