Measurement System

The LD-4K Measurement System is a versatile system for performing experiments at 4 K with a fast turnaround.

The LD-4K system is a versatile measurement system based on the Bluefors LD Dilution Refrigerator Measurement System. Its versatility makes it suitable for many different experimental needs.

A simple push of a single button is all it takes to initiate a fully automated cooldown from room temperature to base temperature. Superconducting magnets can be easily integrated into the measurement system, and the system can be upgraded to a Dilution Refrigerator Measurement System at a later stage.

Extensive Capabilities for Experimental Wiring

The system has a several access ports for experimental wiring between the Room Temperature and the Base Flanges.

Upgradeable to a Dilution Refrigerator Measurement System

The LD-4K System is an LD System without the dilution unit and the Gas Handling System. However, the LD-4K System gives you the possibility to upgrade to a Bluefors Dilution Refrigerator Measurement System at a later stage. Upgrading only requires 3–4 days for on-site installation.


Temperature Controller

The Bluefors Temperature Controller enhances the user experience of our cryogenic systems. With a modern and intuitive user interface, you gain direct control and overview of the temperature status of the system.

Each of our systems is designed to be installed to a specific location defined in advance. A separate layout drawing is made for each Bluefors system, which should always be referred to for exact dimensions.

Facility Requirements
