Bluefors, a leading Finnish manufacturer of cryogenic measurement systems, has today announced its acquisition of Rockgate, a distributor of cryogenic equipment, based in Tokyo, Japan. With the acquisition Bluefors will establish direct sales and service presence in the Japanese cryogenics technology market and expand its global footprint beyond Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, and USA.

Following the completion of the acquisition, Tsuyoshi Ohta will take the lead of the Bluefors business in Japan. The transaction is estimated to be completed by end of June 2023.

ブルーフォース、販売代理店ロックゲートを買収し、日本の極低温技術市場で存在感を高める

ヘルシンキ, 2023年5月25日–フィンランドの極低温計測システムの大手メーカーであるブルーフォース（Bluefors）は、本日、東京に拠点を置く極低温用機器の販売会社ロックゲート（Rockgate）の買収を発表しました。 この買収によりブルーフォースは日本の極低温技術市場での直接販売とサービスが可能となり、フィンランド、ドイツ、オランダ、米国だけでなく、世界に事業展開することになります。

「ロックゲートは、ブルーフォース設立初期に最初の販売代理店となりました。それ以来、日本において当社のサポートしてくれています」とブルーフォースのCEOで創立者のRob Blaauwgeersは語ります。 「当初からのソリューションを信頼してくれており、このチームが日本のお客様のサポートと日本におけるブルーフォースの成長を大きく後押ししてくれると信じています」。
