As well as our integrated, side-loading solutions, we offer a vast range of DC and RF wiring, optical fibers, as well as filtering, signal amplification, and diagnostics options to complete your ideal setup.

Tested to Perfection

Every component in Bluefors’ wiring solutions is stress-tested to withstand repeated thermal cycling in a cryogenic environment.

All our wiring assemblies and options tested are validated for operation at cryogenic temperatures using working systems and real-world conditions, guaranteeing performance and eliminating the risk associated with untested alternatives.

Cryogenic wiring is always provided with proper thermal anchoring and heat sinks which reduce the incoming thermal load, so even large amounts of integrated wiring have a minimal impact on system performance.

All solutions are low noise, creating as little disturbance to devices as possible. No compromises have been made with the electrical properties of the experimental wiring. Even with the low excitation currents, the noise levels of the Bluefors experimental wiring are extremely low.

We provide complete solutions to optimize your entire measurement setup. Side-loading, interchangeable wiring infrastructure modules that can be switched between systems with ease. Wiring for DC Measurements


Bluefors offers high-quality experimental wiring for direct current (DC) measurements integrated into the cryostat. To guarantee the cryogenic performance, all the DC wirings are tested at room temperature (RT) and in LN2 baths before integration. Finally, the integrated DC wirings are tested while the system is at base temperature.

Wiring for RF Measurements


Cryogenic experiments require special electrical and thermal properties in coaxial wiring. Properties such as low signal loss, EM shielding, and attenuation, together with minimal induced thermal load, proper thermal anchoring, and reliability, become crucial qualities for successful experiments.

Bluefors’ cryogenic coaxial wiring combines excellent electrical and thermal properties for cryogenics. We have developed all our coaxial wiring options to operate reliably and survive repeated thermal cycling in the cryogenic environment. All our assemblies are manufactured and tested at the factory to fulfil the highest quality standards.

We also offer Delft Circuits’ Cri/oFlex®, a modular and scalable I/O system designed for a wide range of quantum applications. The high-density flexible wiring platform offers turnkey, side-loading solutions for flux bias lines and microwave drive lines.

Optical Fibers


Bluefors can accommodate optical fiber connections from the Room Temperature to Mixing Chamber Flange for fiber-optic signals.

Amplification


Amplifiers are integrated into our wiring to optimize readout signals from devices. We also offer a preassembled readout solution that includes a TWPA. Our solutions are designed to boost the measurement fidelity while adding a minimal amount of noise.

Filters


Bluefors offers filtering solutions integrated into our experimental wiring. IR Filters protect sensitive quantum devices from high-energy photons that might cause unwanted heating or decoherence. See also QDevil‘s QFilter, which is a compact multi-stage low-pass filter. It is an option for Twisted Pair Wiring.

Diagnostics


Cryogenic diagnostics tools enable the accurate calibration of cryogenic measurement infrastructure to improve measurement fidelity.

Sample Holders


Bluefors offers sample holder systems to enable high-fidelity qubit measurements. The products arrive tested and pre-installed in systems.
