Vector Magnets

Magnets

Integrated, cryogen-free, superconducting two- and three-axis vector magnets up to 9 Tesla.

We offer two- and three-axis vector magnets up to 9 Tesla on the Z-axis with various bore sizes. Many different configurations are available depending on your experimental requirements — for example, incorporation of field compensated regions, increased field homogeneity, fitting a persistent mode switch, low field drift rates, and optical access.

Configurable Magnetic Field

Vector magnets enable magnetic fields to be rotated on two or three axes in relation to the sample.

Installation Without Soldering

Screw terminals for current leads enable fast and simple magnet installation and removal without soldering.

Effective Heat Transfer

Connection to the 4K Flange with a high thermal conductivity tube, which ensures effective heat transfer with a low thermal gradient.

Power Supply Quick Connection Rail

A quick connection rail for the power supply at room temperature enables easy connection of magnets to the power supply.

Magnet Temperature Monitoring

Temperature monitoring of magnets is possible through the fully integrated Bluefors Temperature Controller. A sensor on the magnet relays diagnostics to the Temperature Controller for automated monitoring.

Persistent Mode Switch

A persistent mode switch is offered as an option for our Vector Magnets. With the persistent mode, the magnetic field has higher stability and persists without continuous current supply to the magnet from an external power supply.

Integrated Options to Suit Experimental Needs

To suit various experimental needs, we have designed different kinds of magnet configurations with integrated options for the magnet solutions.
