Service Overview
Dilution Refrigerator Health Check
Our Health Check service is designed to help you assess the health and operational state of your cryogenic measurement system. The primary objective is to identify, mitigate, and prevent issues that might lead to significant problems over time, while minimizing the system downtime and maximizing the system reliability. The ultimate goal is to ensure your system continues to operate at its best performance during its lifetime.
The service includes a series of tests performed on the system and its key components. This includes inspection of operating parameters, functional instruments, and components of the system, and a performance assessment made during a monitored cooldown of the system. The service is carried out by a Bluefors Cryo Engineer and takes 3–5 days (depending on the configuration of the system). At the end of the visit, you’ll receive a report summarizing the test results with suggestions for any actions needed to improve system performance.
The service can also be sold as a stand-alone visit, or in addition to visits such as relocations, reconfigurations, or installations of new or refurbished components.
Preventing Potential Issues
With the Health Check service, signs of degradation are addressed even if they haven’t yet caused any major issues, to ensure any potential problems are addressed early.
Ensuring Proper Performance Configuration
When performed after major changes have been made to the system, the service ensures that the system operates at optimal performance in its new configuration or environment.
Proactive Problem Mitigation
If issues are detected, problems can be proactively mitigated. This can involve making adjustments, recalibration, replacing parts, or making repairs to maintain optimal operation.
