The 10th IEEE Electronics System-Integration Technology Conference (IEEE ESTC 2024) is the premier international event in the field of electronics packaging and system integration. The conference is organized every two years in Europe and is supported by IEEE-EPS in association with IMAPS Europe. The 10th IEEE ESTC will be taking place in Berlin, Germany.

Bluefors Research and Development Scientist Jarno Järvinen will be giving a talk on the Cryogenic Wafer Probing during the special sessions on Quantum Chips and Their Packaging. The session will be held Thursday, September 12, 3:45 – 5:15 pm.

Talk Abstract

Quantum computing solutions typically require operating temperatures near absolute zero, necessitating specialized cooling and testing methods beyond those used in the conventional semiconductor industry. One of the uses is cryogenic wafer-level testing, crucial for scaling up quantum chip production. This overview will highlight the established cooling techniques to achieve millikelvin temperatures, and provides an example of a cryogenic wafer-level testing solution.
