Office Coordinator for Bluefors Germany

You will be the first employee of the new German branch office with main responsibility of assisting the Managing Director by providing support to ensure smooth workflow and sales in the new office. We need a person who is always one step ahead and ready to take action. Interest in technology and science is highly appreciated.

Main responsibilities are:
  • Running the day-to-day operations of the office (phone, email, supplies)
  • Administration e.g. document management, finances, customer data
  • After sales support, assisting with marketing and communications
  • Meeting and travel arrangements
  • Interacting with different stakeholders and Bluefors Finland office

Required qualities and skills:
  • Degree in business, economics (BBA, MBA or equivalent)
  • At least a few years of experience in administration and assisting management and/or sales in international companies
  • Good understanding of daily finances in an office (invoice handling, accounts etc.)
  • Good command of office IT programmes

Team Leader Vacuum Assembly

You will head our Vacuum Assembly department and act as the team leader and supervisor for a team of 6 people. You will ensure timely and high-quality production in the department and the competence, performance and wellbeing of your team members. You are able to clearly communicate what is needed and follow-up on set goals.

Main responsibilities are:
  • Leading and supervising the daily work and team
  • Safety, work load, motivation and performance of team members
  • Optimizing production processes, monitoring and improving of production targets
  • Resource planning, material flow, stock balance and cost monitoring by using LEAN ERP system
  • Internal development and planning together with other team leaders

Required qualities and skills:
  • Degree in a technical field and understanding of assembly work and technical drawings - preferably good skills and knowledge in vacuum testing, soldering, electrical components and pumps
  • At least 3 years' experience as team leader in an assembly/production facility
  • Mind set for improvement and results
  • Good team working and customer service skills

Cryo Engineer

The job consists of assembly, testing, reporting and commissioning BlueFors systems with high quality standards. The job requires flexibility with working hours and frequent international travel for installations on-site at the customer premises.

Main responsibilities are:
  • System level assembly
  • System testing
  • Sensor calibration
  • Factory acceptance testing and on-site installation

Required qualities and skills:
  • MSc degree in applied/technical physics
  • Basic office IT programs

Data/Software Engineer

You will be working in our R&D team with main responsibility in development and maintenance of the software related to our testing and measurement database. The selected person will be responsible for fluent flow and storage of measurement data, software for entering and visualizing the data and implementation of software for automated measurements using given API.

Qualities and skills:
  • Experience in front-end design, preferably Angular.
  • Experience in data analysis, manipulation, visualization and storage solutions.
  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills. The work requires interaction with different teams in the company.

Knowledge in some of the areas below is a strong advantage:
  • Experience in infographics.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, SQL or Python.
  • High quality coding portfolio (for example contributions in GitHub projects).
  • Understanding of statistics, physics, instrumentation and measurements.
  • Understanding of aesthetic and usable UX/UI design.
  • Knowledge of machine-learning.

Technician, Cryostat Assembly

The job consists of assembling, testing and finalising cryostat system components with high quality standards.

Main responsibilities are:
  • Connecting several system components e.g. high pressure and vacuum hoses
  • Making electrical and water connections
  • Assembling support frames from aluminium profiles
  • Vacuum testing components and pumps
  • Cool-down testing of cryostat systems

Qualities and skills:
  • Mechanical Engineering education or equivalent
  • Strong experience in mechanical assembly and testing
  • Knowledge in reading and understanding technical drawings and documents
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high quality
  • Hands-on attitude and passion for technology

Also appreciated:
  • Work experience in a medical/scientific assembly environment
